About Us

The Rumpus Room is a company that works with agencies and clients designing and building technology to create social entertainment. Brands want to see their investment working harder across communication platforms, especially in social spaces, while at the same time people are increasingly wanting to be included. Today’s audience wants to create, engage and share.

The Rumpus Room was founded to harness the power of people building experiences together and align this activity with brand communication. Our projects involve participation though directed creation and submission of user content. We bring multiple elements together to create rich content experiences, optimised for distribution via traditional and emerging platforms, creating something greater than the sum of its parts.

We aim to interleave social and traditional activities to create bigger and better experiences. Collective and personalized content is generated and then disseminated by enthusiastic participants who amplify the message through social platforms. We work on creative and social strategy, design and build, and ongoing management. We also provide insight and analysis allowing us to remain reactive to audience response and open to opportunities.

We have worked on a wide range of projects generating experiences, outputs and installations across TV, social platforms, real world, mobile and web. These experiences were made in collaboration with agencies such as Wieden + Kennedy, Mother, BBH, CHI, Publicis, Cole and Weber United, Hypernaked and Brooklyn Brothers, for brands including Nike, Coca-Cola, The International Olympics Committee, TalkTalk, Cadburys, Dell, Microsoft, Range Rover, MAC Cosmetics and Nokia.

Our work has been recognised with some of the highest accolades, by some of the biggest award bodies, including D&AD, Cannes, Oneshow, Brit Insurance design of the year, Campaign Media Awards.
